In the story
Stretch is a radio host whose recording of an attack brings her into the Sawyer family’s path. Her investigative impulse and attempts to survive place her between Lefty’s revenge mission and Leatherface’s contradictory behavior.
Continuity matters
A direct sequel to the 1974 film, with Lefty’s connection to Sally and Franklin making the relationship explicit. Later installments do not consistently preserve its ending.
