Story spoilers
In the story
Siedow returns as the family’s outward-facing operator. The sequel places Drayton in a more public setting and intensifies the contrast between businesslike self-presentation and the household’s violence.
Continuity matters
A direct sequel to the 1974 film, with Lefty’s connection to Sally and Franklin making the relationship explicit. Later installments do not consistently preserve its ending.
