The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning · Played by Lew Temple
Story spoilers
In the story
Temple plays the law officer whose identity is taken by Charlie Hewitt. Recording this role separately prevents the actual sheriff from being confused with Ermey’s character using his name.
Continuity matters
A prequel to the 2003 remake. Its origin story concerns Thomas Hewitt and the remake family, not the teenage Sawyer story told in Leatherface (2017).
