Melody, Lila, Dante, and Ruth arrive in Harlow as a redevelopment project encounters people already living there. A dispute over the town’s spaces triggers Leatherface’s renewed violence, turning the visitors’ plans into a struggle to escape.

Garcia, Diaz, and a new generation

David Blue Garcia directed a screenplay by Chris Thomas Devlin from a story by Fede Álvarez and Rodo Sayagues. Ricardo Diaz served as cinematographer. The director and camera interviews make the production’s visual decisions an unusually accessible research trail.

Colin Stetson’s score

Colin Stetson composed the 2022 score. The soundtrack announcement and his Ninja Tune conversation provide starting points for exploring the music as a work in its own right.
