In the story
Melody is one of the visitors trying to remake Harlow as a new commercial opportunity. Her relationship with Lila adds a personal responsibility to decisions that initially appear to concern property and investment.

A later continuation of the original film’s premise, separate from the Hewitt remake pair and the Heather/Jed Sawyer branch. Sally is played here by Olwen Fouéré; Marilyn Burns originated the role.
